metabridge 2011

Seriously...if you're a startup in Canada and you don't spend time in the Bay Area, then you need to be at metabridge 2011 . YA, I know what you're thinking...I can't afford it or I don't have time. Then I ask....whats it worth too you to get 2 days of one on one hanging out with 20+ C Level peeps from the Silicon Valley and when do you plan on getting off your butt and getting out of your cave to tell the world what you have been working on for the last 6 months to 2 years?

A little harsh? Maybe, but the Canadian tech community needs a kick in the ass. We have to many great closet/garage ideas that we fail to commercialize and get in front of the right people. Saying "please and Thank you" and spending all our time in development (thanks to IRAP and SHRED) forever doesn't work.

Canadians are too nice...my response is "Thank you, now can you Please just sign the damn purchase order"
