YourTechOnline in Africa

Africa has become a passion of mine in the last year. As YourTechOnline.com has slowly leaked out our African Technology Project to the world, we have received emails and phone calls from all over Canada and the USA from people and organizations saying; it is about time someone paid attention to this enormous problem.Front line aid workers just don’t have the technology to support the overwhelming demand for HIV/Aids relief and then there is the educational side – another HUGE problem. We (North America) can really make a difference in Africa, if we would just pay attention to the waste we create - manufacturers destroy hundreds of perfectly good computers, through away software that is perfectly fine and trash discontinued peripherals because it is a year or two old and it won't sell. The average age of a PC on the frontline in Nigeria and Cameroon is over 7 years old; we can make a difference over there and we will... more to come
